Year 10 English for Practical Purposes

This class is for English Language Learners who are learning at Stage 1-2 of the English Language Learning Progressions. This course is for 8 hours per week. Half of the course is based on Social Studies learning outcomes, incorporating extra English language scaffolding. In the other four hours, reading, writing, speaking and listening are all in focus as students develop the skills required for the NCEA Literacy Common Assessment Tasks.
