Are you interested in working in sports? medicine? music? agriculture? law? education? No matter your career pathway you are going to have to solve problems using computers, and that's what this course is all about - developing skills using digital devices to solve real world problems. This subject isn't just for geeks who want to sit in front of a computer all day - if you want to be able to work with others and help people by using computer technology this course is for you!
There are three main areas covered:
· digital information (use of tools such as databases to manage information)
· programming and computer science (understanding how digital devices work and how to control them)
· digital media (creating a website including some original content)
