Level 3 English Language for Practical Purposes

Subject Description

This course integrates text types from other subject areas while focusing on intensive development of grammar, vocabulary and sentence structures to especially improve writing, reading and oral presentation skills. Year 12 students can use this course as a step to gaining UE literacy in the following year with 2ELIT or 3EAP. Students will be offered 20 credits.


Recommended Prior Learning

This is determined by a placement test, successful study in  1ELITI, 1ELIT or 2ELP or in consultation with Ms Bland.
