Subject Description

Students get the choice of doing either a Vocational (17 BCITO credits) or Academic (20 Achievement Standards credits) Pathway. Students will consult with the Head of Department and develop a course that will suit their needs. They then work on the following skills: construction and reading of drawings, research skills, design and development skills, hand tools skills, machine and power tools knowledge and skills, construction of projects and evaluation skills.

Course Cost: $180 for take-home projects
Recommended Prior Learning
Completing the Level 2TEM course with 14 or above credits in either pathway. It is recommended that if you have completed the Vocational pathway in Level 2, you continue to work towards the Vocational standards in Level 3.
