Recommended Prior Learning

Students may have taken 9LIT ( Year 9 Literacy) in the previous year, however this is not necessary. This course leads into 1ENR ( English Readiness). 

The skills in this subject underpin every literate subject and prepares students to feel confident acheiving the Literacy CAAs. It provides practise and revision in spelling patterns, reading comprehension, inquiry skills, paragraph and essay writing.
