Teacher in Charge: Mr J. Hammond
The aim is for students to develop the values and knowledge to enhance their own lives as well as enabling students to become confident, connected, actively involved and lifelong learners. Students will study the function of the body as it relates to physical activity through physiology, anatomy and bio-mechanics. They will develop their understanding of the barriers and enablers that contribute to their involvement in physical activities and apply self-management skills. Performance skills and the development of these will be a focus of this course.
