Level 1 Design and Visual Communication
Teacher in Charge: Mr A. Regaldo
Students work on a number of assignments which cover spatial and product design and offer 16 internal credits.
These standards include a range of drawing skills and developing conceptual outcomes. Other skills involve: Using a range of graphic design and communication skills, presentation techniques and opportunities to utilise these skills within environmental, technological and media contexts.
Students have the option of up to a further 9 external credits by producing a portfolio of work. This work is produced during the year from internal work and sent away at the end of the year for external marking. Student choice alongside teacher advice will determine whether this option is viable.
