Level 2 English Language for Practical Purposes

Subject Description

This class is for English Language Learners who are learning at Stage 2-3 of the English Language Learning Progressions. This is a practical course for students in Year 12 or 13 which integrates grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing and speaking. It has a strong focus on employment and being successful in everyday New Zealand situations. It is assessed through three Level 3 English Language for Practical Purposes standards, providing students with the opportunity to achieve 15 credits at Level 3.
