Level 2 Design and Visual Communication
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Miss J. Nielsen
Students work on a number of assignments which cover Spatial and product design, with students offered 19 internal credits. Other skills involve: assimilation of a range of new drawing skills, application of skills within more specific spatial and product contexts, the role of design elements, study of design eras and portfolio presentation.
Students have the option of up to a further 10 external credits by producing a portfolio of work. This work is produced during the year from internal work and sent away at the end of the year for external marking. Student choice alongside teacher advice will determine whether this option is viable.
