Subject Description

Ever imagined yourself in business? Going global? Investing, trading in currencies, making millions? Then 2 Economics is the course for you! We look at the what, why, and how of major economic issues facing New Zealand: inflation, unemployment, trade, growth, government policies, and how they affect us all. By the end of this course you’ll even understand what our political parties are talking about, and maybe even see it in action if covid allows our Commerce trip to Wellington. Better yet, you’ll be able to make informed decisions about your own political views - perfect timing, since 2023 is an election year!
