Subject Description

This course gives students an understanding of the law in New Zealand as it relates to their lives and society. It strives to empower students to be active, engaged citizens by equipping them with the knowledge and skills to successfully participate and create change in their communities. It involves field trips, guest speakers, research of current and historical cases, assignment and booklet work.
As this course is fully internally assessed, an attendance rate of 80% or more is required to enter the course.
