This course covers aspects of health and nutrition concepts using a food and nutrition approach. It builds on and extends the skills you have developed in Year 9. You will continue to develop your knowledge and skills to plan healthy and appropriate meals for growing teenagers, identifying the overall effects it has on your well-being. Practical work (twice a week) is included throughout the course to continue the development of appropriate skills you require for independent cooking.
