HOW MANY SUBJECTS DO I STUDY?
| Year 11 Choose 6 subjects, which must include an English or Te Reo Māori, and Mathematics. You choose 4 other subjects, usually with a 1 code, e.g. 1COM. | ||
| Year 12 There are NO compulsory subjects at Year 12. Choose EITHER 5 full-year subjects and 2 half-year electives, OR 6 full-year subjects. If you would like to be considered for 6 full-year subjects you must email your Kaitiaki for approval. Your full-year subjects are likely to have a 2 code, e.g. 2ART. You may also study subjects with Level 1 codes, depending on your results from Level 1. Most electives are half-year programmes. Choose one for the first semester and one for the second semester. If it is a full year elective it will take up both semesters. |
| Year 13 There are NO compulsory subjects at Year 13. Choose 5 subjects which are likely to have a 3 code or may also be from Level 1 or 2 depending on your results from the previous year. | ||
