Achieving success in a Vocational Pathway means that as a student you have developed skills and knowledge in areas that employers value and are relevant to their industries.
LEVEL 2 & 3 TERTIARY COURSE OPTIONS INTSIDE SCHOOL
STP - Secondary Tertiary Pathway Programme
STP is a programme where students achieve the majority of their credits from the vocational course they attend with an outside provider on Thursday's and Fridays. When they are at school the students are studying vocational standards to support and enhance their course work. Courses may include automotive, building, early childhood teaching, hairdressing, animal care and many more. There is also a work placement element with this programme and students are expected to attend a work placement one day a week. This programme is open to students in Year 12 and 13.

There are links to tertiary providers who offer full time courses at Level 2 and 3 for secondary school aged students. .

- International Travel College (ITC) - Tourism and Flight Attending
- NZ School of Tourism (NZST) - Tourism and Flight Attending
- Lincoln University - Diplomas in Agriculture or Horticulture
- MAINZ - Music and Audio Production
- National Trade Academy (NTA) - Primary Industries
- NZ Institute of Sports (NZIS) - Sport, Exercise and Recreation
- New Zealand Management Academy (NZMA) - Floristry, Hospitality, Information Technology and Sports
- Southern Institute of Technology (SIT) - Construction and Automotive Trades, Hair and Beauty
- Vision College (Vision) - Computing, Information Technology, Early Childhood Education, Music, Security and Ultimate (foundation courses)
- Yoobee Colleges - A large variety of graphic and web courses with film making, make-up artistry and graphic design
